You’re not lazy. Your nervous system has simply been on alert for too long.
NESYRE is a method of consciously regulating the nervous system. Breath, somatic techniques, gentle movement, meditation and sound — in one 80-minute class.
Sound familiar?
The body speaks before you admit it
A nervous system that has been on guard too long can’t switch itself back to calm. It usually looks like this:
- You lie in bed exhausted, but your head won’t switch off.
- You get up in the morning as though you hadn’t slept at all.
- Your shoulders and jaw stay tight even when you’re doing nothing.
- You breathe shallowly, into the chest — and often forget to exhale.
- You snap at things that never used to bother you.
- You have digestive trouble your doctor can’t find a cause for.
- A holiday helps for two days and then it’s the same again.
- You feel as if you’re always waiting for something. You just don’t know what.
If you nodded at three or more, NESYRE is for you.
What it actually is
NESYRE is not another workout
It’s the opposite. Nothing gets improved, nothing gets stretched, nothing gets strengthened.
Most methods we know work with the body through performance — train more, hold longer, get better. But a body that has been in alert mode for a long time doesn’t need more pressure. It needs convincing that it’s safe now.
NESYRE builds on what the nervous system actually listens to: breath, slow movement, touch, sound and predictability. None of it takes fitness or experience. It takes 80 minutes in which you want nothing from yourself.
Consciously, right from the start.
How a class runs
80 minutes, five phases
The order isn’t random. Each phase prepares the ground for the next.
Settling
The first 10 minutes. Nothing is asked of you. You lie down, cover yourself and let your body understand that it’s safe — everything else depends on it.
Breath
Extended exhale, gentle breathing techniques. The exhale is the one button you can consciously press to switch the nervous system from alert to calm.
Somatic movement
Slow, very gentle movement with no goal and no mirror. The body gets room to finish the tension that stayed stuck in it.
Meditation
A short guided stillness. It isn’t about “switching thoughts off” — it’s about stopping fighting them.
Sound and silence
Tibetan bowls and tuning forks. For the last 20 minutes you do nothing at all. This is where most people properly rest for the first time in ages.
Who it’s for
Who NESYRE helps most
- Women running at full tilt who no longer notice they’re exhausted
- People with disturbed sleep, shallow breathing and chronic tension in the body
- After a demanding stretch — at work, in health, or personally
- Those who tried “relaxing” and it didn’t work, because the body couldn’t let go
- As a complement to therapy or rehabilitation (not a replacement)
For the first time in years I fell asleep on that mat. And not because I was tired — because I finally stopped holding on. a NESYRE participant, Pezinok

Questions
What people ask me most
Do I need experience with yoga?
No. NESYRE isn’t a yoga class in the usual sense — there are no demanding positions and no fitness requirements. Most of what we do happens lying down, sitting, or in gentle movement.
How long is a class?
80 minutes. The first few minutes are for settling in, then come breath and movement, and the last 20 minutes are sound and silence.
How quickly does it work?
Most people feel the release and the slowing down straight after the first class. Lasting change — better sleep, less tension in the body, a longer breath — comes with regularity, usually after 4–6 weeks.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes and a blanket. Mats, bolsters and all the props are there at the studio.
Can NESYRE be done during pregnancy?
Yes, with adjustments. Write to me beforehand and tell me which trimester you’re in so I can adapt the class — or I may suggest pregnancy yoga instead.
Can NESYRE be done at my home?
Yes. A private class can be held at my home or at yours — I bring everything needed, including the bowls and tuning forks. And under Online courses you’ll find videos and audio meditations you can play any time.
