About me

My name is Gabriela. To people, I’m Gabi.

I’ve worked in marketing for years — in a world built on performance, deadlines and pressure to do ever more. So I know how hard it is to stop. And that’s why I now teach what I had to learn myself.

Who I am

Someone who can chase achievement rather too well

Behind me are a doctorate, several jobs and years in the advertising and performance world. I’m someone who spent a lifetime trying to achieve something, to be good, to be better, to keep moving forward.

And that’s exactly why I know the other side of that world too. I find it hard to stop. I always feel there’s something left to finish, to sort out, to achieve.

I’m not writing this to sound dramatic. I’m writing it because when I say in class “you don’t have to achieve anything”, I know precisely how hard that is to believe.

I’m not a psychologist or a therapist.

How I got here

Six steps that took years

I knew why — and it didn’t help

For years I could name my patterns. I knew where they came from and why I react the way I do. And I thought that understanding them meant I could change them.

The body reacted the old way

Then real situations came along and I found that, whatever I knew intellectually, my body reacted exactly as it always had. Our patterns aren’t only thoughts. They’re automatic.

From the mind to the body

I began working with the body, with emotions and with the nervous system. Not instead of understanding — after it. The body needs to experience a different response, not hear about one.

Single methods weren’t enough

Meditation, breath, sound, movement — every tool works. But settling down isn’t enough on its own. Sometimes the body first needs to let out what’s in it.

That’s how NESYRE came about

An order I trust myself: first let the tension out, then slow down, then let the body experience calm. Not another product — a process I lived through myself.

And today

I can hold things that would once have broken me. Not because hard things stopped happening. Because I am changing.

Where we might have met

Perhaps we already know each other

Inner Temple, Pezinok

Regular group classes of NESYRE, pregnancy yoga and kids’ yoga. Kollárova 20, a small room, twelve people at most.

At pregnancy yoga

If you were pregnant in or around Pezinok, there’s a fair chance we met here. I teach it as a certified instructor of women’s and prenatal yoga.

At the “A day for body and soul” workshop

A whole day together with nowhere to rush. Movement, breath, sound, silence and food.

At your company or at your home

A class to order — for a team, a celebration, a hen party or a family.

At a private session

Longer-term work with one person. Sometimes it’s work with the body, sometimes a conversation about what keeps repeating.

Or nowhere yet

In which case this is a good place to start. A first class is no commitment.

Honestly

What I don’t claim about myself

  • I’m not a psychologist or a therapist and I don’t want to present myself as one.
  • NESYRE is not treatment. It’s work with the nervous system, not a substitute for medical care.
  • I don’t promise an easy birth or any particular health outcome — nobody honestly can.
  • I don’t replace your doctor, midwife or physiotherapist.
  • It isn’t a quick fix. The body learns by repetition, not from one class.

What I do have: certification in women’s and prenatal yoga, work with tuning forks, and years of my own experience with what I talk about.

Meditácia a regulácia nervového systému na lekcii NESYRE

We can spend an hour explaining to someone how sweet honey is. If they’ve never tasted it, they still won’t know what it tastes like. They have to taste it. It’s much the same with feeling safe. We can know we’re safe. We can explain it to ourselves. But our body needs to experience safety.Gabi

Come and try it

You’re committing to nothing. Come to one class and see whether it suits you.
